Postage rate increases are effective Sunday

Postage rates increase January 27. Most noticeable is the first class letter rate which increases one cent to $0.46 for up to one ounce. The cost for each additional ounce is $0.20.

Increases in the presort standard and not-for-profit rates are less and they won’t have significant impact on budgets for those doing bulk mail.

The updated rates are below and can be found on our web site starting Monday for future reference.
