Postal Increases for 2013

The United States Postal Service announced on October 11, 2012, that pending final review, postage rates will be increasing effective January 27, 2013.

The price of a First-Class single-piece letter is going to increase by 1 cent to 46 cents.

There will also be a new International Mailing Rate of $1.10 for a First-Class letter sent to any international destination.

Highlights of the new proposed rates are:

  • Letters (1oz.) – 1-cent increase to 46 cents.
  • Letters additional ounces – unchanged at 20 cents
  • Letter to all international destinations (1oz.) — $1.10
  • Postcards – 1-cent increase to 33 cents.

Once this new pricing is approved by the Postal Regulatory Commission, Printing Partners will post the new pricing on our web site and will keep you abreast of the changes.
