Use multi-channels to disseminate and collect information

Young AudiencesYoung Audiences Indiana hosted their national conference last month in Indianapolis, at which they celebrated their fiftieth anniversary.

When the conference co-chair approached Printing Partners as a sponsor their first need was a save-the-date card. We recognized quickly that Young Audiences needed an integrated approach to the conference communications that would help them both disseminate and collect information regarding the conference.

Starting with the graphics from the save-the-date card, Printing Partners created a conference web site that allowed YA to promote the event and collect registrations. The registrations were maintained in a data base that the local and national office could access. Registrants received automatic confirmation emails. The system allowed for follow-up emails as information was updated. The site can be viewed at

An invitation was mailed to target audiences for the corporate luncheon. The invitees were directed to the web site to register and pay. Invitees also had the option to call or email their responses.

Young Audience’s conference was a relatively small event, so there wasn’t a need to utilize the full capabilities of the technology. This was their first attempt at a multi-channel campaign and they were very pleased with the outcome and capability of the system.

Do you see opportunities for multi-channel communication in your organization? Let us know how we can help.

One Response to Use multi-channels to disseminate and collect information

  1. Thank you for your support of Young Audiences. They have brought much joy to the children of Day Nursery through their Young at Arts program. We are proud to be their partner in bringing arts to preschool age children.
